Johnston Stewart Trophy

Pairs Championship that is played over seven qualifying rounds with winners North - South and East - West.  Graduated points, starting from 10, are awarded to each section.   The ten pairs with the highest points in a maximum of four rounds will qualify for the twenty seven board final.   This will be played on a club night.  Two substitue pairs only may be used in the event of any call-offs.  These reserves will be the 11th and 12th qualifiers.

Cembler & Marks Trophy

A match pointed pairs competition played over seven rounds.  Won by the highest total of percentage scores over a maximum of 4 rounds.

Bruno Serafini Trophy

Teams of 4 competition over 7 rounds.  The best 4 scores will count.  The scoring will be IMPs converted to VPs and then to a percentage score of the points available.  Teams will be as played in the 1st round unless otherwise stated or at the discretion of the Director.  Substitutes are allowed but only one score with a substitute will be allowed in the final total score and this substitute may be a member of another team. 

Bill Mitchell Handicap Teams of Four

This will run simultaneously with teams receiving handicaps based on the previous year's average scores.  Completely new teams will receive a handicap by the master points secretary.  Substitutes are allowed but only one score with a substitute will be allowed in the final total score and this substitute may be a member of another team.  The team which wins the Brono Serafini Trophy may not win the handicapped teams. 

The Bridie & Ross Trophy for Summer Teams of Four

Over the course of this open teams of four competition, the best scores to a maximum of 7 will count.  Substitutes will be allowed for four of these scores but the other three scores must be with the established team.  On any evening, a pair of substitutes will not have a counting score.  Scoring will be VPs converted to percentages.  There will be a prize for the concurrent handicap tournament.
