A reminder of some comments made at the AGM. 

Will members please try & park tidily 'cos when we have a full house parking becomes somewhat cramped. 

Also a reminder for members to help in the kitchen - particularly towards the end of the evening.  It is not unusual for the director to spend a considerable amount of time clearing up after play.   If there is a half table, can the last non-playing half ensure the kitchen is clear before they leave.

VISITORS

In view of the popularity of the Simultaneous Pairs events we play, regretfully, we are no longer able to accommodate visitors on these evenings.  This applies also to the World Bridge Federation & Children-in-Need events.

However, visitors are welcome on all other evenings, phone the Sec (Carole) 01293 786653 or our Chairman (Derek) 01483 272890 first, or speak to any Committee Member so we know to expect you.  Please be aware our start time is now 1920 hrs, so vistors should be at the Club at around 1900hrs.

Welcome to Ewhurst & Ellens Green Bridge Club, a friendly Club situated on the Surrey/Sussex border.  We are an EBU affiliated club & play a mixture of duplicate bridge, eg. individual pairs, teams events as well as County and World Wide simultaneous pairs events.

The proposal at the EGM was unaminously accepted.  As a result Derek Gardner remains as Club Chairman.  An updated Club Constitution has been posted on this website.

Our next major event will be the World Bridge Federation Sim Pairs on June 3rd.  An exiting event where we compete with Countries from across the World.

The Summer party will be a repeat of our successful skittles (& supper) evening at "the Bull's Head" on July 6th.  Everybody  welcome. 

The weekend away in the Cotswolds is booking up fast, & applications will be opened to the Cranleigh Bridge Club early in March.  This takes place the 2nd weekend in October
