The tables below show:-

1. All the Essex Competitions, divided into Pairs and Teams events
2. Whether these competitions count towards the Eve Goblets
3. The Entry Fee for the Competition (per Pair / Team)
4. Whether particular placings in the competition attract Prizes, and the prize value (per Pair / Team)
5. Whether particular placings attract Green, Blue or Local Points
6. Whether the event is restricted to Essex players, or is (in principle) open to all
7. Whether winners receive a Trophy
8. Links to the Competition descriptions and results (including the winners)

The "Open?" column requires explanation:-

1. Most events are open to open to all ECBA members plus anyone who plays in an Essex club or in an Essex League team. If the column is empty, this default is what appertains.
2. The two GP events are open only to players giving first allegiance to Essex because the winners can represent Essex in National competitions.
3. The BP events are open to any EBU members.
4. The Warboys and Club Pairs are restricted to ECBA members, but with the further restriction that the Warboys is restricted to past and present Essex A or B squad members, who are excluded from the Club Pairs (which is otherwise open).

Notes

1. National Pairs: From 2015, the County heats will be discontinued, so this competition has been dropped from the Eve Goblets. There will, however, continue to be Trophies awarded to each member of the Essex pair that progresses furthest through the competition and is highest placed.
2. League KO: This competition completes after the AGM, so counts towards the following year's Eve Goblets. It is open to any Regional League team.
3. Teams of 4 Plate: Free entry for first- and second-round losers in the Teams of 4.
