Essex Competitions
Competitions - Introduction

Some points to note:-

  1. Use the form below to enter Essex competitions.
  2. A spreadsheet showing who has entered each competition in the current Competition Year is accessible via the menu item to the left. This is useful both to check that your entry has been received and to check on the potential availability of other players / pairs.
  3. If you encounter an emergency on the day of an event, please let Val Mollison know on: 07896-792787. This will help the TD plan the movement, and maybe make allowances for you if you are to arrive late. This is NOT to be used for competition entries or other non-urgent matters.
  4. A new form has been added for people to post their name / partnership on the Entries spreadsheet to invite another player / pair to form a partnership / team in a specific competition.
  5. A full list of all the Essex competitions appears here. Additionally, competitions are divided into Tournaments and Leagues, with details accessible via the menu items to the left.

Competition Entry Form
  • We have a dedicated e-mail account for competition entries and any queries that you may have for the Tournament Secretary.
  • Use the form below or send an email to essexbridge@googlemail.com.

  • Cheques (made payable to "Essex Contract Bridge Association" NOT "ECBA") should be sent to:-
Linda Fleet, 64 Gandalfs Ride, South Woodham Ferrers, CM3 5WS
  • In general, no acknowledgement will be sent, but the entries spreadsheet will be updated promptly. You should check this on the day after submitting your entry. If this is difficult for you, include a request for an acknowledgement in the comments section of the entry form.
