Minutes of the 40^th AGM held on 26th January 2016

Treasurer’s Report

Deirdre reported that we have 49 members which includes 4 new members and 37 guest visits The charity evening was organised by Ted £224 was raised and passed to ESSC  to be divided between the 2 hospices.

This year expenditure exceeded income by 26p and the balance in the bank is £893.

Membership to remain at £8 per person Sue Thornton was thanked for reviewing the accounts.

Ted asked why we had a healthy balance in the account. Alan and Deirdre replied it was for new equipment when required For instance new tables cost £100

Acceptance of the report was proposed by Sue Thomas and seconded by Alan Thomas

There was no change as everyone was prepared to stand again.

It was decided to hold a charity event combined with the Thursday club and it was suggested that this could be held on a Thursday afternoon. Ted kindly offered to organise. Tickets will be £2 each
