| Elgin Bridge Centre |
 |
The Elgin Bridge Centre was founded in 1999 when nine bridge clubs joined forces under one roof in central Elgin. The clubs retain their separate identities but have a central committee to manage mutual affairs. There is a bar (or mini-bar) available to all the clubs also tea, coffee etc. The Centre hosts regular social and fund raising events, usually on Saturday evenings, and an annual Bridge Congress.
The Centre welcomes new members and holds classes for beginners and novice players, visitors are most welcome. For more general information about the Centre itself contact any of the following officers. If you want to know more about the different clubs please refer to their own pages.

| MORAVIA BRIDGE LEAGUE |
TEAMS: In keeping with the agreement at the 10th June meeting of flexibility, it has been agreed that players may play for more than one club, but with a different partner. 2nd division players may play up in the 1st division as many times as required and whilst 1st division players may play in the 2nd division, we ask that this is not abused.
MATCHES: to be played at the Elgin Bridge Centre unless both Captains agree to play elsewhere. No Home /Away. Each team to pay their own way - £18.00 includes tea/coffee/biscuits.
Room and time to be arranged directly with Margaret Spink. Suggest captains check availability with her first. margtspink@hotmail.co.uk 01343 549032
South Room free every evening except the Friday before our Saturday events. North Room free on Wednesday and Friday evenings. Main Room free on Friday evenings again apart from the one before Saturday events. All rooms are available during the daytime except the North Room on a Friday afternoon. Weekends are also available apart from Saturday function dates. Bookings should be made directly to Margaret as she will put it on the calendar which provides a double check for Ian.
Scoring: We propose to score each board – 1 point for a win and ½ point for a draw. Both team captains to check results and email to John Webb –jvwebb@jvwebb.plus.com
This is what we have come up with based on the consensus at the 10th June meeting, and trust that it meets with your approval. We will, of course, review proceedings next April and propose to hold an end of season Pairs Bridge night at the EBC.
