| Club Information |
Edmondstown Golf Club has over the years enjoyed an enviable
reputation of having bridge players of the highest standard and
some members have represented and Captained Ireland in
international events.
Names such as Don and Barbara Seligman, Justice Henry D Barron,
Adam Mesbur, Grace Finnegan, David Berber, Paul and Ann Hanratty,
Micheal O’Briain John Comyn, and David Jackson all are present
or former members.
The current Bridge Club was constituted in 2012 and membership has
now grown to over 90 members and is affiliated to the CBAI.
A key aim of the club is to hold a friendly, supportive and not overtly
competitive weekly game to be enjoyed by all.

| Special Events |
Each Christmas is marked by a bridge game with special prizes followed by
a meal in our clubhouse.
The David Berber Trophy

Our flagship annual competition is the David Berber Trophy which is held each
February in memory of our esteemed past member David Berber.
The Rose Bowl Competition
An Inter Golf Club Bridge competition is held annually for the
Rose Bowl Trophy.
Participating golf clubs take turns in hosting the competition and the event provides the opportunity to compete for a trophy and meet fellow golfers
in a relaxed and friendly environment.
Grange, Elm Park, Milltown, Rathfarnham, Dun Laoghaire and Foxrock compete
with us in early March in this competition.
Edmondstown has have been very successful in this competition, winning it several times.
