EPC Bridge Players Hit Turkey!

Many bridge players from the club were amongst the group on the annual holiday to Lykia World in Turkey in May, so naturally combined tennis, relaxation and sunshine with a little social fun bridge in the afternoon and evenings.

The group came well prepared, with Amy Innes and Judy Taylor bringing along bidding boxes and duplicate wallets – to make sure the bidding sequence could be remembered regardless of the occasional glass of wine!

The sessions attracted interest from a few non-players – including David Tucker (EPC Chairman) – who gallantly stepped in and held Val Ruston’s cards after an accident left poor Val with a fractured wrist – he started asking a few very perceptive questions. Sue Rickett’s was also spotted watching what was happening and is keen to learn more.
