EBC Directory ... 2016 Edition

Remember the 2015 error ... the good news, we'll have a new directory for 2016.   I'm just starting to get the directory ready for 2016 publication.  If you haven't given us your information to be included in the directory, now is the time!  Forms are available at the director's station.

Thank you for your interest in creating this directory- we know you like it, you've told us!  So we want it to be correct this year!  Let us know of any changes, adds or deletions!  You have until March 11th to get new information to Paulette!  As always we thank you for making Eastside your full time bridge club.

Slam Bidding and Play
Diamonds are a Girl's Best Friend

So what now?

So you bid the slam?  Partner bid minimally, but showed some values in clubs.  6D is Easy... Makes 7 on a finesse.

Back in the Saddle Again!

Your Bid!  Pass or bid a slam?

Right you are....Bid the slam but which one?

6D is the place to play.  It is ice cold.

6C is a good place to play, but it is dependent on the opening lead and the location of the spade ace.

Kudos to Greg Ho for making the superior bid of 6D.

Diamonds are Forever!

"So do you feel lucky?"  or is this more of a "PASS" or "FAIL" type of question.

Since I've already quoted Clint Eastwood aka "Dirty Harry", we'll use a modified cliche

Are we "Champions" or Mice?    Please feel free to subsitutue a more appropriate noun as you see fit....Women, Men, Lions, Tigers, etc.

Bid 7D you'll be glad you did
