Welcome to the website for the East Kent Bridge Club

The East Kent Club meets every Friday at St Martin's Community Centre, Cheriton, Folkestone, starting at 2pm prompt with an approximate 5pm finish.  Duplicate Bridge is played in a freindly and informal manner.  Players of all standards are welcome but the Club is unsuitable for either expert players or complete novices.  The ethos of the Club is to provide an environment that is friendly and welcoming to both novice and regular players and provide an intro to the world of competitive bridge  A host is always available for those who turn up without a partner..

The table money is £2.50 per player, and this includes tea, filter coffee and biscuits available on a "help yourself" basis.

East Kent players at the Kent Swiss Teams on May 17th

Several players from the East Kent Club played in a One Day County Swiss Teams event held at the University of Kent, Canterbury on May 17th.  A team consisting of Nathalie Cahour & Bob Jones, with Richard Browne & David Cock (from other local clubs) finished in 2nd (out of 47 teams competing).  They were narrowly beaten by a team consisting of four Bridge Grand Masters!  Full results can be found on the Kent County Bridge Association (KCBA) website..
