Welcome to the website for the East Kent Bridge Club

The East Kent Club meets every Friday at St Martin's Community Centre, Cheriton, Folkestone, starting at 2pm prompt with an approximate 5pm finish.  Duplicate Bridge is played in a freindly and informal manner.  Players of all standards are welcome but the Club is unsuitable for either expert players or complete novices.  The ethos of the Club is to provide an environment that is friendly and welcoming to both novice and regular players and provide an intro to the world of competitive bridge  A host is always available for those who turn up without a partner..

The table money is £2.50 per player, and this includes tea, filter coffee and biscuits available on a "help yourself" basis.
Both Rooms to be used by the Club
Please note that as from Friday 23rd October, both rooms at St Martins have been booked for use by the bridge club.  The extra space should provide a more comfortable environment and the arrangement will continue provided there is sufficient support to justify the extra cost involved.

Bridge Classes restarting
Bob Jones' bridge classes will start up again from Thursday 15th January, with arrangements as late last year.  Advanced classes will be from 10.30 to 12.30 on a "pay as you go" basis.  Improvers classes arranged via Kent Adult Education will be from 1.30 to 3.30.  Venue, as before, at Wood Avenue Library, Folkestone.
