It is a friendly Club with nearly 100 members from around Surrey.   The Duplicate Bridge takes place on Monday evenings at The Drift Golf Club in The Pheasant Suite upstairs, which has a picturesque outlook onto the course.   

Players are asked to be seated at 7.00 for 7.15 p.m. in order to organise the electronic scoring system, Brian, with cashless payments for the table money, which has been increased to £3 for Members and £4 for Visitors.

Visitors are welcome but prior booking via the website would be appreciated.

East Horsley Village is about a mile away and Effingham/Cobham about 2 - 3 miles (see directions on the website).   This section has been playing for 40 years.

Members are requested to register their attendance at the Duplicate Bridge on Monday evenings via the website.   

Also those looking for a partner can make a Request in the same way by accessing the Calendar to the right hand side of the Home Page.

New Members are required to initially Register via the 'Members Only' button at the top right of the Home Page and Login for the first time according to the instructions.

East Horsey Bridge Club has become cashless.

Each Member has an account and every time you play in an event your account will be debited by the table charge for that session, which currently is £3 for Members and £4 for Visitors.

You can also have a joint account so that the charges for two (or more) people are combined and only one person needs to top up their account.  To set this up, send an email to ehbclub@gmail.com with names and Club IDs and stipulate who is paying.   

If you stop playing at the Club any remaining credit can be refunded by request.   If your account gets low you can still play but you will receive a gentle reminder.

Annual Subscriptions of £15 for Members are now payable directly to the East Horsley Bridge Club Account

There is also a fee of £10 for people wishing to join the Club 

We were the only pair to bid 6♥ but 4 other pairs made 12 tricks.

I have shown our bidding and West is bold in bidding 4NT in response to East's 'preference' or 'limit' bid of 3♥ . West alos played the hand well as 2 pairs only made 11 tricks.
