ABOUT
We play Duplicate Bridge every Thursday (18:45 to 22:00) at the Marske Cheshire Home. The venue is bright, spacious, disabled friendly and has ample, secure parking. Members pay £2 to play which includes refreshments. Visitors are very welcome and special arrangements can be made for those unfamiliar with duplicate bridge - see below.
DUPLICATE BRIDGE
In duplicate bridge the hands are dealt once at the beginning and then passed around the room. Your score is based on how well you do compared with others playing the same deals so that the enjoyment of the evening isn't so dependent on picking up good hands. For those bridge players new to duplicate we can offer an introductory arrangement whereby they play, with assistance, at a side table.
