I have written a letter promoting bridge. Bridge the national curriculum to reduce attrition rates. My goal is to have it pinned on every bridge notice board in the UK. I was hoping to do a one shot email to all counties, they could then forward it. Finding a list of county emails is difficult, so I have started with A. If you could send me your email address I will send the letter. To forward it to your other clubs.. Thanking you in anticipation.

On checking the travellers for evening 20th May I note that N/S seem to have total scores for 24 boards but E/W only for 22 boards (I am comparing pair 9 with pair 19 for example) This seems to indicate that the final rankings are faulted: i.e. pair 9's score = 24 boards, pair 19 = 22 boards!! Comments please? |

I am not a member but I am interested in trying the club out. I have just moved into the area, however it looks from the website that there is no host system in the evening on Tuesdays and I am not available for the afternoon sessions. Does anyone have any suggestions? |

Would any young lady (it doesn't matter how young) care to be my partner in the Deane Salver mixed-pairs event at Whitley Bay on the 17th? I haven't played in it before, but for some reason have taken it into my head that I'd like to try it this year. I've already approached three young ladies and been turned down by them all (washing hair, playing golf etc), but I'm not looking for sympathy; just for someone with a similar devil-may-care approach to bridge to my own. |
