Charity for 2016

Thank you for all the excellent suggestions that were made for this year's charity. All the charities suggested but not chosen this year, will be considered in the future. The committee has chosen 'Daft as a brush' as this year's charity. 'Daft as a brush' supports north east cancer care by providing transport, funding ambulances and also supporting the Great North Children’s Hospital. It is a vital cog in getting people to their cancer care without the other worries that they already have. Please view their website http://www.daftasabrush.org.uk. The event will take place on 22 November, supported by a raffle and other activities. If you have any raffle prizes to donate then please pass them to Peter Sykes.
