Fairbotham Trophy - Club Championship

The competition runs from the 1st February for 12 months until the 31st January of the following year.

The competition is open to all members.

The minimum number of games to be played = 20

The winner is the player with the highest average % score from their best 20 results.

The Deryck Hey Cup - Slammer of the Year

The competition runs from the 1st February for 12 months until the 31st January of the following year.

The competition is open to all members.

All Duplicate Pairs games count. Grand Slams = 3 points, Small Slams = 1 point

The winner is the player with the highest points score.

The Cundill Cup - A Handicap Competition

The competition runs from the 1st February for 12 months until the 31st January of the following year.

The competition is open to all members.

The handicaps for all members are set by the Scorers using the computer results of the previous year. For new members the Scorers allocate an arbitary handicap. The handicaps may be altered during the year if a mistake is clearly seen in the results.

The competition is held on the first Duplicate Pairs evening of every month (12 per year)

The winner is the player with the highest average % score from their best 5 results.

The Jones Cup - Improvers

The competition runs from the 1st February for 12 months until the 31st January of the following year.

The competition is open to all members.

The minimum number of games to be played = 20 in the current year and 20 in the previous year.

The winner is the player with the highest increase in average % score of their best 20 results over their average % score of their 20 best results in the previous year.
