I have been contacted by Suzy Guillard, President of the English Club of Voiron. Droitwich and Voiron have been twinned for 2 years and Suzy is trying to make contacts between Associations and Societies from both towns. The members of the Voiron Bridge Club are very keen on getting in touch with an English Club. Voiron is located in the south-east of France. It is a very attractive market-town of about 23000 inhabitants in the foothills of the Alps and within easy reach of Grenoble. It has an excellent Summer climate and is also convenient for Winter-sports. Grenoble airport is about 15 miles from Voiron and has regular flights by Easy jet and Ryanair.

Droitwich Bridge Club plays every Tuesday evening at 7:15pm. There is ample free parking and tea, coffee and alcohol are available. Visitors are welcome most weeks except members only competitions (see website calender for details) and a host is available for those without partners.
