Welcome to the Dovercourt Contract Bridge Club website.

The club was founded in 1959 and currently has 58 members. We meet twice a week, on Tuesdays we play Chicago and on Thursdays we play Duplicate.

We also have a close relationship with the Hook of Holland (Hoekse) Bridge Club. Every September we play them for the Zeeland Cup. 2013 will be the 28th year this has been held.

Also every April/May some members travel on the ferry to take part in a special competition (the Dunes Drive) held in the beach cafes in the Hook.

New members are always welcome, with or without partners.
Competitions
CompetitionsDuring the winter season four competitions are played for on the Thursday Duplicate evening:

Individual, Mixed Pairs, Open Pairs and Teams of Four. Each competition is allocated five separate evenings during the season. The best three results out of the five count towards the competition cups.

On Tuesdays, in addition to small cash prizes, players compete between September and Christmas for the Kitty Edmond's Cup.
