| Children In Need Sims |
Upper Deal will be running the Children in Need Sims on Friday 11th November - £4 for members, £6.50 for guests which includes free raffle entry.
Dover will be on Monday 14th - £6 for members, £7.50 for guests which includes free raffle entry.
At both events all table money goes to Children in Need.

Put the date in your diary now for the AGM at 6.45 - the Christmas Plate will be played for from 7.00 and a Christmas drink [ perhaps a mince pie as well] will be provided for all after a couple of rounds. So unmissable entertainment with the AGM plus drink, food and bridge as well - the perfect evening!

| LET THERE BE LIGHT update |
We now have 4 sets of double standard lamps and this has helped a lot in lighting up the tables. The bar is open on Friday evenings while we play.

| Dover Sit Out status |
Up to the 3rd October we have had 19 sit outs of which 2 were Howells, 7 N/S, 10 E/W and 1 mainly N/S but 2 E/W pairs also sat out. We will maintain as close a balance as possible over the year.

Welcome to the web site for Dover and Upper Deal Bridge clubs, the calendar,news and results for both clubs will be published here.
Dover Bridge Club uses computer dealt hands and the Bridgemate 2 scoring system. Results with the hand detail are normally posted the same evening unless the scorer has been alerted to a mistake in scoring.
Upper Deal will normally post the results by midday on the following day.

| Lena Heathcote Trophy |
Newer club members may wonder what this trophy is and also how you can win it! A full explanation is in News but briefly the Cup is played for each year in memory of Lena, who was a member of the club for over 40 years. As the results on various cups and shields clearly show she was far and away the most successful female player in the club at that time.
