The Devon School of Bridge is a private club dedicated to providing an efficient learning resource for all those who wish to learn or improve their ability playing the fascinating game of Bridge. The club is based in Silverton just seven miles north of Exeter and in addition out-reach courses are held in Exeter and Spreyton. The principal teacher is Titch Glenday who is an enthusiastic Professional Bridge Teacher trained and accredited by the English Bridge Union.  Courses are offered to all levels of ability from absolute Beginners First Steps through  to supervised play and advanced Workshops for the more experienced players.

NEW COURSES

There will be a new 10 week course this year starting May 13th in Exeter from 4.00pm to 6.00pm covering Rubber Bridge,  Stayman, Overcalls, Take-Out Doubles, Strong Twos, Slam Bidding, Pre-empts and Chicago Bridge.

A four week course on 'Playing the Cards' will commence on June 3rd also in Exeter from 7.00pm to 9.00pm

There is duplicate bridge every Friday afternoon at Silverton starting at 1.30 pm prompt.

We play 'gentle' duplicate, everybody is welcome so please come and join us. You do not need to bring a partner because we operate a 'host system'.  Congratulations to this week's winners, Pam & Barbara and a very creditable second place for Ray & Avril.

Also a warm welcome to our newcomers Trevor and Audrey who were 4th.
