The Deva Bridge Club provides many opportunities for players to learn to play bridge or to improve their game including beginners lessons, improvers lessons, supervised play sessions and gentle duplicate.

Bridge lessons - starting 5th October
New members are the lifeblood of our club so please spread the following information far and wide - even if you are not wanting to brush up on your own skills!
The Deva Bridge Club runs an excellent programme of lessons for both beginners and improvers. Lessons take place at the club every Thursday starting 5th October:
- Beginners: Arrive at 1pm for 1:15-4pm lesson
- Improvers: Arrive at 9:45 for 10am-12:30pm lesson
Lessons are easy paced with a friendly atmosphere and lots of 1-2-1 support.
Just turn up and pay - £4 per person including tea/coffee and biscuits.

Our programme of lessons for 2017/18 has now started but if you know anyone who would like to learn to play bridge or brush up on their skills there is still plenty of time for them to join us and we will be happy to help people catch up if they miss a few lessons.

Bridge lessons - starting in October
The club runs an excellent, friendly and welcoming programme of lessons for both beginners and improvers every Thursday starting on 5th October.
Improvers lessons start at 10am and beginners lessons are at 1:15pm. There is no need to book in advance just turn up in good time to pay (£4 inc. tea/coffee and biscuits), get seated and enjoy!

| President's Day text |
This year President's Day will be on Sunday 19th March and Annie Mead's chosen charity is Chester & District Samaritans.
Details as follows:
- The entry fee of £13 per person includes a drink, a pairs duplicate bridge session, a meal afterwards and £2 for entry into the charity prize draw
- To enter add your name to the list in the foyer of the clubhouse (specifying any special dietary requirements) and buy a ticket from Annie, Jean Stelfox or Kate Beckett
- Drinks at 2pm with bridge starting at 2:30
- The raffle prizes include a 2 course meal for two with a bottle of wine generously donated by The Ring O' Bells and 4 bridge DVDs donated by Mr Bridge
- The meal consists of lamb hotpot (served with garlic bread/crusty bread, beetroot and red cabbage) followed by dessert - alternatives for those with specific dietary requirements must be specified in advance.

| Parking reminder |
Please ensure that:
- You do not obstruct our neighbours' driveways
- Your visitors observe the same protocol and
- That you only park in the pub car park if you are going to be a customer of theirs.
