Derby Bridge Club is the oldest established Bridge Club in Derbyshire. We play at the East Midlands Bridge Centre in Spondon (see DCBA in Useful Links for details) .
Duplicate Bridge is played on Tuesday evenings, and Monday and Wednesday afternoons and we welcome all visitors and prospective new members. A host system is in operation on Tuesdays. We go out of our way to try to ensure no-one goes home without a game!
There will be no afternoon Bridge on Monday 27 May (Bank Holiday Monday)
This year our President John Reavy has chosen a Charity at Derby Royal called Project DART: Derby Advanced Radio Therapy.
The project's aim is to raise £2.5M for a new Radio Therapy machine

All our three Bridge sessions on Monday 10 June, Tuesday 11 June and Wednesday 12 June will be raising funds for the charity. Table Fees will be normal but players are encouraged to round this up generously. The EBU will waive the Pay to Play for Monday's session and EMBA will make a sizeable contribution from the table rent.
Miranda will be running a Raffle and we are asking for donations of prizes for this.

Arrangments are in hand to ensure a sensible event can be run and therefore each week one of the regulars will check who is planning to play the following week. This does not mean that non-regulars are not welcome!
