Derby Bridge Club is the oldest established Bridge Club in Derbyshire. We play at the East Midlands Bridge Centre in Spondon (see DCBA in Useful Links for details) .
Duplicate Bridge is played on Tuesday evenings, and Monday and Wednesday afternoons and we welcome all visitors and prospective new members. A host system is in operation on Tuesdays. We go out of our way to try to ensure no-one goes home without a game!
There will be no bridge on the afternoon of Monday 24 December (Christmas Eve).
But there will be bridge on Monday 31 December (New Year's Eve) afternoon
On Monday 10th December the Bridge will be a Qualifier for the County Pairs. Bridge will be played as normal but those wish to qualify will need to say so before the Bridge starts.
Our Children in Need (Simultaneous Pairs) event was held this year on Monday 12 November. Both EBU and EMBA waived their fees so that all the takings went to Children in Need. The Monday simultaneous event was played at 157 different clubs.
Well done to Roy Fey & Peter Jones on winning our event (East-West) with 64% and for coming 14th overall (out of 2718 pairs) with 68%.
