We comprise about one hundred and twenty members with a wide range of abilities from Premier Grand Master to improvers. The atmosphere in every session is very friendly. We meet three times a week; Mondays at 7.15pm for 7.30 start (8 to 12 tables on average), Thursdays at 2 pm (3 to 6 tables), Fridays at 7.15 pm for 7.30 start (8 to 10 tables). Unfortunately we are unable to accommodate absolute beginners at playing sessions, but improvers are most welcome on a Thursday when more experienced players are present to give them a helping hand if required.
We are able to offer bridge classes for beginners and returners, which are held in a relaxed and informal environment. If you would like to take part please call Adele Holder on 01892 888001.
There are frequent competitions throughout the year including county and national competitions open to all members. Visitors to sessions involving national or county competitions are asked to book their places in advance with the secretary.
It can be difficult to find a partner if you are a newcomer as most players have their own established circle of regular partners. There is a host available on Thursdays and Fridays or you can phone Adele Holder on 01892 888001. We meet in Crowborough Community Centre. We look forward to seeing you.
