CROSS IN HAND v FRAMFIELD

Sunday 22nd April

This proved to be a very enjoyable evening, when we played against a  friendly Framfield team.  There was a break during play for a very tasty buffet supper and a glass of wine.

Unfortunately, the evening was not a complete success for Cross-in-hand because, sad to say, we lost the match 94 to 84 imps.

However, we must congratulate Framfield for being the better team on the evening and we look forward to a return match next year when we hope to redeem ourselves.

A very very big `thank you` must be said to Deidre, who worked very hard to produce the supper and to all the team who brought delicious food and who helped with the hall management.
