STANNINGTON BC NEWS |
On Friday 17th May at the usual time of 7.00 pm we will be holding an expert talk on Defensive Signals. Multi-title winning GB and Scottish International player Liz McGowan will be giving the talk and hopefully answering a few questions on her bridge career. Notes of the tips from the talk will be provided and, after a refreshment break for cheese and wine or tea/coffee and biscuits, we will play a few hands of bridge. Attendance will be solely available through buying a ticket in advance at a cost of £10. Tickets are available from Anne Bell on 01670 366492 or anbel36@btinternet.com.
On Friday 22nd March Mike and Norman were first with Marion and Don second, despite making three slams, followed by Catherine and Desmond in third place.
On Friday 12th April we will hold our first Spring Handicap.
