WEST CORNWALL

There is excellent coverage of courses for beginners at the moment :

1. The two courses which started in September 2014 and January 2015 have now been amalgamated and are running successfully as one. For more information about future courses please ring either Ann Ampleford on 01736 361104 or Wendy Miller on 07810 707156.

2. Term Three of the beginners course starts on Thursday 9 April 10-12 noon at the Godolphin Club, Wendron Street, HELSTON.  Ring Sandra Bickerdike on 01326 572430 or Jackie Royds on 01736 763625.

3. Jim Barker has a beginners' group which meets on a Monday afternoon between 2-5pm at the CARBIS BAY Memorial Hall. Ring Jim on 01736 794134 for more information.

4. FALMOUTH has a very active tuition section.  Students can then progress to a playing group (open to all) which meets every Tuesday afternoon (2-4 pm) at the Athenaeum Club, Kimberley Place, where help and advice is available if required. Ring Carolyn Fraser on 01326 311159 for more information or drop in to the Athenaeum Club any Tuesday afternoon.  

5. Mary Robson, resident bridge teacher at TRURO Bridge Club,would like to hear from you if you are thinking of learning to play bridge. The Club meets at the Conservative Club on Lemon Street. Ring Mary on 01872 272748 for more information.
