St. Patrick's Quay which is the location of Cork Bridge Club is within walking distance of railway station, main bus terminal and Cork city centre. Hotels and restaurants are also convenient. The Club playing rooms are on the first floor overlooking the river Lee where, in season, rowing clubs can be seen practising on the river. The premises facilitate meetings of the South Munster Region and because of its convenience to all facilities Regional Competitions are also held there.
During its eighty years the Club has acquired its own premises and many national and international players have been members of the club, to name a few, Hugh McGann, Derek O' Gorman, Rory Boland, Anne Dillon, the late Denis Dillon and Joan Crowley and many more.. Their success has enhanced the competitive nature of the club. There are over 200 members in the club and it holds an annual "At Home" which is always well attended and keeps the social spirit of the Club alive and well competing with its competitive side.
