The Lucile Godfrey awards are presented to the Knockout winners in Flights. Lucile Godfrey was a founding member of Unit 360 in the 1950's. She was a club director and bridge expert in her day. She was the only Colorado Springs player ever to win a national championship and had the most master points of any player in the Springs with 3000 master points back in the day before master point inflation. She was a strong supporter of the effort to build the Bridge Center. Lucile died in 1980 at the age of 84 (From the recollections of Bob Wingeard).
