Host List
To see the Host List for this year click on the Programme & Host List tab on this website.

If you cannot host on the specified day, please arrange to switch with another member and advise the Secretary, Paul Rickard, so that the website can be updated.
Club Etiquette
Please note that your Club Committee has agreed that, to avoid any risk of spillage onto the cloths, cards or bidding boxes, NO DRINKS SHALL BE PLACED ON THE BRIDGE TABLES. Your cooperation is appreciated.
System Cards
We should all have System Cards (they used to be called Convention Cards) on the table. Why? Because if something happens and the Director is called, he is more likely to rule against you if you cannot show that what you said or did is in line with your partnership agreement.

So: If you have a regular partner, WRITE DOWN YOUR AGREEMENTS and keep your system card with you ! Blank and standard system cards can be downloaded from the EBU website (Click on Useful Links>EBU> Documents>L&E Publications>Convention Cards).

For casual partnerships, STILL have something in writing -- why not keep some copies of a summary of what you usually do and, in discussion with your new partner, mark it up to show what you are going to do with them tonight. It might even help you remember what you've agreed !! To see an example of such a summary sheet click on Sample System Summary, on the left - this one is for Benji Acol with a few standard conventions.
