| Clifton Bridge Club |
Clifton Bridge Club meets on Friday evenings to play duplicate bridge.
The club was formed in the 1970s and for many years met at the school hall in Clifton, Beds. It now meets at St George's Hall, Common View, Letchworth. The club draws its members from the mid Beds and North Herts area. It remains affiliated to the Bedfordshire Bridge Association (BBA) despite meeting in Herts and sends teams and pairs to play in BBA club events.
The usual competition is club pairs, but there are other pairs and teams competitions played (usually on the last Friday in the month), and the club also stages heats of simultaneous pairs competitions where these fall on Fridays. See the calendar page for details of these events.
Masterpoints are issued and credited directly to members accounts at the EBU.
Visitors and potential new members are always welcome. Please contact the President, Secretary, or Information Officer (details on the Committee page) for further details.
