 CLUB 'SENIORS' EXCEL
CLARE members dominated the Suffolk Senior Pairs event on Wednesday night with players filling three of the first five places.
Club chairman Jane Moore and Jenny Price finished in top spot while Will Pavry, fresh from his Monday night success, teamed up with Jan Havard-Davies to take third place. David Price and Andrew Moore were fifth.
Twenty five pairs took part in the annual renewal held at the Old Community Hall in Clare.

SUMMER PARTY CHAMPIONS
CLASS invariably prevails - and so it proved during the popular summer party held at Jenny Morley's home on July 6.
This year's renewal co-incided with the latest exchange visit by members of Huy bridge club to Clare and ten Belgian players added an international flavour to the team event.
The winners (pictured above) were England player David Price, Marie Francoise Stas, Jenny Price and Jean Jamar. Jean is a multiple former Belgian champion and, together with Marie Francoise, they are the current mixed champions in the LBF, the French speaking area of Belgium. A close second were Andrew Moore, Jean Pierre Dumont and Tony and Sue Aldous.
