WHEN IN ROME...
Hail the winners of the Club Teams of Four!
Jan and Adele plus Nick and Sarah pulled off a great victory when they landed Suffolk's Club Teams of Four competition at the weekend.
The event took place at Pakenham village hall although players could have been forgiven for thinking they had been transported back in time to Ancient Rome, given the backdrop on the stage.
Nick and Sarah were winning the Club Teams of Four for the second year running, having been successful with David and Jenny 12 months earlier.

ANDREW ROBSON MEETS HIS MATCH...
The moment rugby-loving Marcus met The Master...
But what did they say to each other? Who gave advice to whom? Two bottles of wine on offer for the wittiest suggestions!
THE latest Andrew Robson Master Class organised by Clare bridge club was well received by more than 100 bridge fans who flocked to Lavenham on Friday.
Andrew more than justified his billing as Britain's top teacher-player as an audience drawn from far and wide across East Anglia learnt about the importance of shape, 'fast' slams and crucial inferences about defence.
He also found time to sit down and converse with Marcus Hopkins, a member of Clare and Stansfield bridge clubs whose other passion is Welsh rugby. The photograph on the left records the moment when they met - but what words passed between them?
Was Marcus recommending the use of two of his favourite bids - double and redouble? Perhaps he was pointing out that Andrew had even fewer points than the Wales rugby team usually score in their matches. Or maybe he was offering to become his manager...
A prize of two bottles of wine is on offer to the person who can provide the wittiest caption describing who said what to whom. Please email you entries to CAPTION COMPETITION

SUFFOLK COMPETITIONS SURVEY
THE 17 bridge clubs affiliated to the Suffolk Contract Bridge Association and English Bridge Union have almost 1,000 members but fewer than 250 took part in county events in 2012 - and only 100 played regularly.
Why is it that bridge players turn up like clockwork at their clubs but shun competitions organised by Suffolk?
Is it due to other players' behaviour, cost, travelling, the day/time - or some other reason?
Chris Rickard, the county's competitions secretary, has sent out a survey to all clubs in aan attempt to find the answers and to discover what type of events would encourage increased participation.
You can download the survey by clicking on Competitions Survey in the left hand column. Please take a few minutes to complete and email Chris Rickard
