| Christmas Sesssion ~ 17/12/15 |
Our last session of 2015 was our Christmas special. There was a traditional Christmas cake from Sally (see above) and Roger brought a bottle of excellent port while Bernard produced an enormous box of chocolates! The hands were challenging (perhaps more challenging after the refreshment interval than before?) and none more so than Board 2 (illustrated above, around the cake) which offered N/S a grand slam in diamonds (scoring 1440) ~ or a brave sacrifice to E/W if they bid 7 hearts (7 off, doubled, for 1400). Who knows what 2016 will bring! Merry Christmas from all of us at CSBC!

| 100th meeting! |
Our 100th meeting was on 24 September - so there was cake, naturally! This time Sally made us a chocolate and blackcurrant tray bake with chocolate cream cheese icing (and the blackcurrants were home grown). What can I say - it's clearly a "one off"!
