Tuition

Dom Wilson is ready to run tuition sessions for Beginners at any time, depending on demand (minimum of 8).  If you are interested in joining these sessions, please e-mail me (dwbridge@hotmail.co.uk) so I can firm up mutually convenient arrangements. The tuition is free.  There may be a small charge (£2-3) to cover venue costs (if any).

Small group coaching for Improvers is also available and is topic-based, at the request of partnerships.  Just e-mail Dom Wilson to discuss topics, timing, etc.  There is no charge for this as it is likely to be in the home of the partnership(s) involved.
South Shropshire Bridge Teams League 2024/25

On Thursday 27 March the finals of the SSBTL competition were held at The Strettons Bridge Club.  Wrekin BC managed a victory over the strong Ludlow U3A team (15/5) in the Consolation Final.  In the Grand Final the SBC North team struggled against a vigorous SBC South team eventually emerging exhausted clutching a 15/5 victory.  The Strettons BC North team (Martin Church, Jeff Jones, Tony Poole, Dom Wilson) are this years Champions!

Welcome to Our Club!

The Strettons Bridge club is a friendly and informal club and we are  always happy to welcome new members of all abilities or accommodate those who might just want to come along and watch/ or play before deciding! No obligation.... the first attendance is free and we can guarantee a partner on that occasion if needed. Regular members requiring a partner for the forthcoming play usually post on our 'What's App' page (SBC looking for partners group). There are usually one or two such posts per week.

Membership is £10/year.  Play on Thursday is £2 (members) or £3 (non members). Tea/coffee (and often delicious cake) free!

Play starts at 1pm sharp, but please turn up by 12.50 to enable the director to set up the right movement.

THE CLUB

You are very welcome at our club!
The STRETTONS BRIDGE CLUB meets every Thursday at 1.00 in All Stretton Village Hall for a relaxed, enjoyable and informal session of duplicate bridge.  We welcome players of all levels, including beginners, so long as you know the basics (and if you don't but would like to, see "Learning and Improving").  Feel free to bring crib notes or ask Dom or Martin for advice at any stage during the bidding or play.  No need to bring a partner - we have a host system.
