To avoid slow play, one partner in the North/South position can manage the Bridgemate, the other can manage the boards.
If on lead the partner managing the Bridgemate should make the lead before entering the contract details into the Bridgemate.
The dummy hand can be laid down, and Declarer can assess the situation whilst the details are being entered.
