Effective September 1, Wendy Wade and Gail Lambacher will jointly administer the mentorship program. This program has been a great success under the guidance of Jon Turner for the last 18 months. The board and membership would like to thank Jon for all of his efforts in getting this program off the ground.
Reservations are not required for most of our bridge games however we do recommend that you reserve a place for our very popular Thursday and Friday afternoon games. We can accommodate 25 tables at the club which is more than adequate 97% of the time. To reserve a spot, please leave a brief voice mail message at the club the evening before or the morning of the game. State your name, partner, section (i.e. open or limited game) and the direction you would like to sit. The game director will receive the messages when they arrive and will try to accommodate all requests. Even if you have a reservation, please arrive and be seated at least 10 minutes before game time so that the Director can set up the game and be ready to start on time.

We require a host for many games this week. Please sign up or send an email.
Please remember: Singles players will be matched first, with the Host playing with the last single person. If there are an even number of single players in attendance the Host will go home with a free play. Please arrive at least 15 minutes before game time.
Labour Day Sectional (Toronto) - August 31 - September 2
We have several players who are asking for your help. They have taken courses, been playing for a while, are keen to get better and need the help of more experienced players to help them put all aspects of the game together. You are not expected to teach them conventions but they would love to learn about your experience with rules vs. guidelines, gamesmanship, partner communication and all those wonderful things you have learned from experience. If you can help, please get a form from the office or contact Wendy Wade or Gail Lambacher.
