The club was founded in 1994 and play officially commenced in February 1995. The Club Membership has steadily grown from 40 in 1995 to 112 in 2012. The Membership consists of players who live in an area bounded by Bulahdelah in the north, Pindimar and North Arm Cove in the south west and Hawks Nest in the east. The club is affiliated with the Australian Bridge Federation (ABF).

New and visiting players are always welcome at Hawks Nest Bridge Club. Play is Monday evening 6.00pm (for 6.15pm start) finishing around 10pm and Friday midday (for 12.15pm start) finishing at 4pm.  Table fee for visitors is just $7.

Lessons for beginners and improving players are conducted twice yearly.

We have received Development Application approval for the proposed clubhouse from MidCoast Council. 

We now await the engineering drawings necessary for obtaining a Construction Certificate and to obtain quotes from possible builders.

There is still a great deal of work to be done to satisfy the DA conditions but maybe, just maybe the committee will have definite construction quotes by very early 2017.

When received, the committee will be in a position to ask our members for permission to proceed.
