| St. James's Drive XV |
 Well done to the RAC's Lester Pereira and Paul Weston, winners of the 2025 St. James's Drive.
Forty pairs competed in a 30-board crawl round St. James's, playing at The Athenĉum, The In and Out, The RAC, The Reform Club and The Carlton, finishing the proceeding with a banquet in The Churchill Room.
The St. James's Drive series was started in 2011 by Rex Goad a current member of the Athenĉum. It has become the flagship event for contract bridge in St. James's and its popularity continues to grow each year.

Our 2022 Christmas Supper and was held on Monday 12th December. For the second year in a row we faced seasonal headwinds, with snow causing transport chaos.
Ultimately 34 of us dined and played in the magnificent Churchill Room, where Gordon Clark and Claire Price pulled ahead to carry off the fizz - as memorialized by our suitably woozy photographer!
A happy Christmas from all of us at the Carlton Bridge Society, and we look forward to seeing you in 2023.

Defend our club's honour over the bridge table, against such foes as the RAC, the MCC, the Hurlingham Club and the In and Out.
We arrange teams-of-four and -eight match evenings with 24 boards of bridge and a convivial two-course dinner, home and away.
