Jim Herbert passed away on Friday 23rd January. Our deepest sympathy to all his family and friends. Jim was a long time member and player at the Carlton. His gentle smile and courtesy always made it a pleasure to play with or against him. Funeral details will be posted when we know them.

The Tuesday Novice Tournament with Elizabeth has a lesson on the first Tuesday of the month.

There is no lesson March 3rd (there will be a novice tournament). The next lesson will be April 7th, topic TBA.

All BBO tournaments have a Partnership Desk. If you register there, you have a good chance of getting a game either with somebody else looking for a partner or as a sub (a free game). 

To take part in BBO tournaments you need to join BBO and register your username at online@carltonbridge.co.uk For the award of masterpoints, members should also update their Mempad account with their BBO name
