| Presidents Cup 2012 |
Cardiff Bridge Club has been invited to play in the
Presidents Cup
19/20 May 2012
Seabank Hotel, Porthcawl
Are you available to play?
You need to be a WBU and EWBA member under the rank of Regional Master.
Cardiff (representing East Wales) may have up to 12 players (only 4 play at any one time). So, players can play for just one session if they want.
There are 3 sessions in total, 30 boards per session played in three stanzas of 10 boards against each of the other areas of Wales. This is repeated each session, playing 30 boards against each other area. Players may be changed after each stanza.
There is food laid on, so a lot of bridge for free. As the event is on our doorstep East Wales will not be paying for overnight accommodation or travel.
Contact our Club Captain, Geoff Evans at the club, or on g.evans4@btconnect.com to add your name to the team.
Please note that starting times are different from those advertised in WBU Journal.

| Monday Nights |
Monday Night is Changing!
ExtraTraining - just £2 per night for Members,£3.50 for Visitors.
Starting Monday 11th June, there will be 12 training sessions. Each training session will be followed by a duplicate Bridge session with ‘Assisted Play’.
The training is suitable for players from Beginners up to those who consider themselves fair club players, but wish to rid themselves of some bad Bridge habits.
If you are interested in the Training (45-60 minutes + 2 sample hands), but do not feel the need for 'Assisted Play', no problem.
Training will be presented by Gwynn Davis. ‘Assisted Play’ will be provided on a rota basis by Geoff Evans, Caroline Stephenson, Sharon Winter, and Dave Melville.
Come along and improve your play!
