| The Buckland Bridge Club |
Welcome to the Buckland (Surrey) Bridge Club. We are a small, friendly club, designed originally for novices but now catering for more experienced players as well.
We meet on Thursday afternoons in the Buckland Reading Room (Village Hall), pictured here. It is in the Old Road 60 yards from the Buckland village shop. Please arrive by 2.00pm and be seated by 2.05pm for a prompt 2.15pm start. We normally play duplicate sessions of around 18 - 21 boards and finish soon after 5.15pm. The table money of £2.50 for members, and £3 for visitors, includes tea/coffee and biscuits during the interval.
Visitors are welcome, pairs or single players. Please email Richard Wheen, rwheen@hotmail.com or Edwina Askew, edwina.askew@btinternet.com in advance.
The Club operates a Host system, so that any member or visitor, who comes without a partner, is guaranteed a game.

| Other Information |
We are affiliated to the English Bridge Union (Club no. 418633), and issue Master Points in relation to most weeks' competitions. We are somewhat relaxed about rules such as alerting and announcements, and do not object too much if a player wants to see the cards played to the last trick!
