| The Buckland Bridge Club |
Welcome to the Buckland (Surrey) Bridge Club. We are a small, friendly club, designed originally for novices but now catering for more experienced players as well.
We meet on Thursday afternoons in the Buckland Reading Room (Village Hall), pictured here. It is in the Old Road 60 yards from the Buckland village shop. Please arrive around 2.20pm for a prompt 2.30pm start. We normally play duplicate sessions of around 18 boards and finish soon after 5pm. The table money of £2.50 for members, and £3 for visitors, includes tea/coffee and biscuits during the interval, as well as 33p which goes to the English Bridge Union under the Pay-to-Play system.
Visitors are welcome, pairs or single players. Please call Richard Wheen on 01737-842082 or just turn up on the day.
The Club operates a Host system, so that any member or visitor, who comes without a partner, is guaranteed a game.

| Other Information |
We are affiliated to the English Bridge Union (Club no. 418633), and issue Master Points in relation to most weeks' competitions. We are somewhat relaxed about rules such as alerting and announcements, and do not object too much if a player wants to see the cards played to the last trick!
