Our next club weekend will be 17th-19th March 2017 at the Chatsworth Hotel in Worthing. Please book early to ensure your place as numbers are limited to 52 players. The cost is £175 for members and £185 for non-members - this includes 2 nights accommodation with tea on arrival, breakfast, sandwich lunch and dinner with wine, and prizes, masterpoints and gratuities. Rooms with a sea view are available for a supplement of £10 per person per night.

At the end of March 2016,  Bromley North members were joined by players from South Croydon and Hythe bridge clubs to enjoy a second very successful bridge weekend at the Hythe Imperial Hotel. The hotel provided excellent food and good service. The weather was cold but dry which allowed the more energetic folk to enjoy a brisk walk along the promenade into the town. The overall winners of the three pairs competitions were Sue Parkins and Mark Wiggins . The team event was won by Hilary and David Powell playing with Mark and Barbara Howarth.

The first BNBC weekend away was at the Imperial Hotel Hythe,  It was a great success with 44 people attending.  This included 2 guests from Hythe - Gill and Monica.  We are also grateful to Graham Clements and Pat Gough who travelled down for one evening to make up numbers.
 
The Hythe Imperial Hotel was a lovely venue and for three of the four events we were located in the beautiful ballroom overlooking the sea.
 
Congratulations to all the winners and the results can be found here but mainly thanks to everyone for taking part.  Thanks to Steve for his Saturday seminar and to the directors, Val, Dave, Ewa and Marco and especially Dave who arrived with minutes to spare on Friday evening, having come directly from a cruise in Germany.
 
Thanks to the committee for all the arrangements and particularly Val who did a huge amount to ensure everyone had comfortable rooms, good venues for the bridge and who even managed the finances so well that everyone will be due a refund, after the final numbers have been calculated.
