Changes to the laws are usually made every ten years. The next update was due in 2027.  However, the World Bridge Federation have chosen to make changes that are already in force.

The changes are in the area of communication between players. I don't think there's any actual change to the game, but what I think we all knew has been properly codified. The new laws are available by clicking here. They are quite readable.
