The course assumes no prior knowledge of the game and at the end of the course the student will understand the strategy of the game, be competent with the most commonly encountered bids using the Acol system and know the basic techniques required in playing the cards.
As well as learning a new and absorbing hobby, the course is fun and a great way to meet new people and make friends.
The course fee includes notes on each lesson and coffee/tea and biscuits.

| Bridge for Beginners - The Next Step |

Bridging the gap between beginners and intermediate levels, the Acol system for one-level opening hands will be thoroughly revised. Other lessons will concentrate on improving student’s card play including initial leads, basic signals and trump management. Also an ideal course for people returning to the game.
The course fee includes notes on each lesson and coffee/tea and biscuits.
Tunbridge Wells Bridge Club Mondays 10 am to 12 noon from 13 March 2017 to 12 June with breaks on 17/4, 1/5and 29/5.

| One-day Introduction to Bridge |
£45 One Day 10 am to 4.15 pm
Starting with the basics, the course will introduce you to this popoular, fun, social game. By the end of the day, you will know how to evaluate your hand and will have learnt to bid and play a full game.
Ways to progress will also be covered.
