Minibridge
Learning minibridge 1.

EBU minibridge teaching hands
The EBU has produced these hands for both adult and young learners. There are 40 No Trump and 40 Trump hands arranged in sets of 4 with different 'themes'. We are able to deal these hands on our computer and supply them to our volunteers- a really good labour saving device.
Lose that Ace now
N-S have 27 points and E-W have 13 points(total=40)
S chooses game in No Trumps and needs to make 9 tricks
W leads K Clubs (top of sequence)
S must be brave and lose the A S right away.
S then makes 3S, 2H, 3D and 1 club trick=9
Cross ruffing -minibridge
E-W have 27 points, N-S have 13 points.
E-W choose Game in Hearts.
They need 10 tricks, so can only lose 3 tricks.
They use their trumps separately. E ruffs clubs and W ruffs spades.
This is one of the few times when you do not take trumps out.
You need them all yourself.
