Like any sport, bridge benefits from competition with other clubs. Some schools already arrange after school matches against neighbouring schools. You will be able to see from the list of schools where your competitors may be.

The bridge4schools team organises local events, usually on a Sunday, and these will be publicised in the calendar on this site. We also administer simultaneous pairs competitions run by the English Bridge Union. Simultaneous Pairs, as the name suggests, are played by groups of schoolchildren across the whole country, all playing the same hands so that comparative scores can be produced.

The Oxfordshire Bridge Association also funds an annual trip to the National schools competition held at Loughborough Grammar School every March which is a lovely day out for the children.
