The Brentham Bridge Club is part of the Social Section of Brentham Club, the long established Sports Club on the Brentham estate.
This was one of the first English Garden Suburbs, situated on the north side of Pitshanger Lane Ealing. Other sections of the club include cricket, football, tennis, snooker and bowls.

The Bridge Club is affiliated to the EBU and the Middlesex County Bridge Association .
Using pre-dealt hands, we play on Wednesday evenings (19:25 start- 22:30 finish approx.). A relaxed session is held on Friday mornings (9:45 start - 12:45 finish approx.).
We play both sessions in the main hall which has disabled facilities and air-conditioning.
The Wednesday evening bridge is very popular with players. We are a friendly and welcoming club for players of all standards.
If you do not have a partner, we have a host so you will be guaranteed a game.
For the competitive amongst us, there are 7 competitions run throughout the year and we also participate in the Children in Need Simultaneous Pairs.
Bridgemates and computer scoring are used and the results are posted promptly onto our website. EBU Master points are awarded.

The Open Pairs Cup has a habit of producing
very close finishes. 2018 was no exception.
Many congratualtions to the winners:
Peter Barnes-Hoggett and Alun Lloyd (63.89%)
Second were: Ala Swietochowski and Paul Stevens (63.13%)
Third were: Judy and Lionel Gross (61.62%)
The 2018 Grimshaw Cup was a closely fought contest
with 1.6% separating the top two pairs.
Many congratulations to Judy and Lionel and Gross
winners with a score of 64.77%
Second were Louise Yates and Dot Kelleher 63.18%
Third were Janet Curtis and Jenny Hearn 58.64%
To add some extra spice to this event
the winning N/S and E/W pairs receive Easter Eggs.

The 2018 Ali Meghani Cup was a hard fought battle
with 4 pairs in contention right up to the last round.
The winners surging ahead on the final 2 boards.
