The Brentham Bridge Club is part of the Social Section of Brentham Club, the long established Sports Club on the Brentham estate.
This was one of the first English Garden Suburbs, situated on the north side of Pitshanger Lane Ealing. Other sections of the club include cricket, football, tennis, snooker and bowls.

The Bridge Club is affiliated to the EBU and the Middlesex County Bridge Association .
Using pre-dealt hands, we play on Wednesday evenings (19:25 start- 22:30 finish approx.). A relaxed session is held on Friday mornings (9:45 start - 12:45 finish approx.).
We play both sessions in the main hall which has disabled facilities and air-conditioning.
The Wednesday evening bridge is very popular with players. We are a friendly and welcoming club for players of all standards.
For the competitive amongst us, there are 7 competitions run throughout the year and we also participate in the Children in Need Simultaneous Pairs.
Bridgemates and computer scoring are used and the results are posted promptly onto our website. EBU Master points are awarded.
Play starts at 19.25. Please be seated by 19.15. The finish is 22:30 approx.

To add some extra spice to this event
the winning N/S and E/W pairs receive Easter Eggs.

This Cup competition is a closed event i.e only pairs who are both members can win it. The above results reflect that achieved by pairs with 2 members.
The 2019 Ali Meghani Cup was won by
Peter Barnes-Hoggett and Alun Lloyd with an excellent 67.50%.
2nd Ken Butcher and Mike Richings with 60.00%
3rd Ala Swietochowski and Paul Stevens with 59.58%.

with 1.6% separating the top two pairs.
