Table money receipts, the principle source of revenue for the bridge section, are down approximately 12% on 2012-2013, with receipts on Wednesday evenings down almost 20%, Friday evenings down approximately 10% and Saturday evenings up 20%, but in the latter’s case from a much lower base.
There were no significant items of additional expenditure during 2013-14 and this has enabled the Bridge Section, despite the lower table money receipts, to realise a net income following last year’s reported deficit.
I am pleased to report that the finances of the Bridge Section remain in a healthy condition and no change to the table money charges is proposed for 2014/15.
