Bramhall Village Bridge Club runs friendly duplicate bridge tournaments on Wednesday, Friday and Saturday evenings at 7.30 pm at the Community Centre Lumb Lane. Note: Saturdays are only 1st and 3rd Saturday of each month (see below).
- All bridge nights will be held in the room upstairs and has room for 18 tables. A chairlift is available to access upstairs.
- Recently reburbished room with air-conditioning and soundproofing.
- The club is a members club with an annual subscription currently £24.00, but visitors are welcome to play.
- Complimentary tea, coffee and biscuits are available.

| Subscriptions Now Due |
The subscriptions for year 2016/2017 are now due. Membership renewal is £24 for the year - if paying by cheque then make payable to BVC. Please give your subscription to Kevin or in an envelope (name on!) in the table money tin.

| New Chairperson Takes Over |
Peter Kirk has agreed to take over as Chairperson until the AGM at the start of May. Julie Bannister has resigned from the Chair and the committee with immediate effect. The committee thanks Julie for all the work that she has done as Chair in getting the Tuesday morning sessions started and for promoting more friendly bridge evenings on Wednesday and Friday. The committee hope that she reconsiders this decision at a later date.

| Notice Regarding Juggler System |
Following the receipt of a number of complaints from members, the Bramhall Village Bridge Club Committee has concluded that the use of the Juggler Bidding System is incompatible with the Club’s aim of promoting Friday, as an evening of friendly social bridge. As a result, at its meeting on the 5th January 2016, the Committee decided to ban the use of the Juggler system of bidding on a Friday evening with immediate effect.

| New Morning Bridge Session |
The Tuesday morning club has reopened on Tuesday 5th January at 10.00 am. This is a new easy friendly bridge session that has started at the club on Tuesday mornings at 10:00 am and ending at 12:30. The session is run by Doris Kirwan and table money is £2.00. All welcome.

| Saturday Bridge Relaunched |
We have restarted playing on Saturday nights - the 1st and 3rd Saturdays in each month - 7:30pm. Pauline Shott has kindly agreed to arrange them again - any help would be appreciated. Everyone is welcome and table money is £2 for both members and non-members.
