At last a decent coffee machine!

Yep. Got them in Bath too.

We have tablet scoring.

In Bath, too. Same.

Teachers

Your teacher is Chris Jones, who came back to bridge in 2003 after a lengthy absence, and hasn't looked back since.

"It was years since I'd played, so I decided to go back and learn the basics all over again on a bridge course. At the same time, I joined an 'assisted play' group run by my teacher, Robert Baker, and stayed with that for a couple of years before I finally dared to show my face in a real bridge club. Then, when I did, I loved it."

Since then, Chris has become a qualified EBU director, and has also qualified as an EBUTA Partner Teacher. He plays his bridge mainly at
Bath Bridge Club, whose website he manages, and he also plays in the Wiltshire and Avon county leagues.

As a recently retired author and teacher of English as a Foreign Language, Chris now aims to bring his considerable educational experience to bear on his bridge teaching, and is looking forward to sharing what he's learned in the last few years with his students at Bridge @ Box. After all, he knows where you're coming from - he was recently
there himself.

If you haven't so far, take the plunge and
try duplicate
Bridge at your local club. It's far
less daunting than people make out, and many
clubs run special 'No Fear' sessions to help
new players settle in. You won't regret it!
