Bill Treble of Winnipeg MB has written a 5 book series for teaching bridge. 

   The subjects of the five books cover...  There are 8 lessons in each book.  The first lesson is linked for your review.

1)      Beginning Bridge
2)      Intermediate Bridge
3)      Defense at Bridge
4)      Play of the Hand
5)     Two over One Game Forcing

 

These books are available from Master Point Press for $16.95-19.95.  Only Defending at Bridge and Two over One Game Forcing have been released at this time, the others will follow soon.  The book reviewers for the ACBL Bulletin gave Bill an "A" rating.  In other words, they really like it.  These books have excellent lessons and are very useful for bridge teachers to use in their curriculum. 

Bill and Sue are both accredited bridge instructors that have taught the game for well over a dozen years.  Over that time, Sue has also hosted play-and-learn sessions and novice games that are an ideal environments for people to gain more experience after taking bridge lessons.  Bill is a two-time Canadian Open Pairs champion and author of a well-reviewed book Getting into the Bidding.

           

Bill and Sue Treble opperate the "Ambassador Bridge Club" and offer five courses in particular, each of them eight weeks in length:

1)      Introduction to Bridge

2)      Intermediate Bridge 1—enhancing your bidding skills

3)      Intermediate Bridge 2—competitive bidding

4)      How to Defend a Bridge Hand

5)      Play of the Hand

 

In addition to the above, Sue has done private lessons with interested groups of people on the topic(s) of their choice for an agreed-upon length of time.

Bill will be offering workshops on more advanced bidding topics at a central bridge facility beginning in the spring of 2017.
