We warmly welcome you to BfA Marlborough and hope you will enjoy your journey learning this exciting game under the Tutelage of an EBU Professional Bridge Teacher
Beginners Program
The carefully structured EBU (English Bridge Union) Beginners Program starts with the Absolute Beginners, then progressing onto the next level of courses. These stages can be and often are repeated.
This course is aimed at those who are totally new to the game and those who want to brush up or their existing basic Bridge skills or may be returning after a long break.
Moving on
Improvers Program
Once you've completed the Beginners Program this will lead into the Improvers program which will help to consolidate existing knowledge and further expand your abilities and duplicate tactics.
This level of course is usually repeated once or several times, depending on how often you practise and how quickly you absorb the information. This is probably the most important level as this creates the foundation for you to progress from.
Next Step Program
This will suit those who want to repeat some of the foundations which they are nearly confident they know but also want to learn new conventions and techniques.
Moving on further
Intermediates Program
Now you’ve gained experience and confidence it is time to develop your game further in Bidding and Play.
Advanced Program
This course is aimed mainly at those who play in a club regularly and want to develop more convention and play techniques probably suit those who have done the intermediate class once or twice before who are ready to go on further.
